About the Role:

Okta is seeking a highly organized and proactive Product Operations Manager to support the Product org. This pivotal role will be a central point of contact within the Product organization, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. You will partner closely with various teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Field, PMM and Company Ops, to drive efficiency and alignment. Responsibilities:

  • Strategy, Planning and Roadmap & Feature Management :
    • Support the strategy planning, and drive the product roadmap management process, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for internal and external stakeholders. This includes planning, executing, leading and driving quarterly roadmap presentations
    • Collaborate closely with Okta Ideas team to manage the backlog and drive the process for prioritization of feature and enhancement requests from Field and Customers (including managing the Ideas execution)
    • Facilitate roadmap reviews and provide operational support to Product Management in defining and communicating product priorities.
    • Align and be the connective tissues between field and PM/ Product TPMs and on product roadmap execution
  • Product Communications:
    • Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure effective information flow from customers and field to the rest of the Okta Org.
    • Create and manage communication channels, such as newsletters, internal wikis, and slack channels, to keep the teams informed on key updates, decisions, and initiatives.
    • Collaborate and co-own field facing MBRs and QBRs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a similar role within a technology organization, preferably with experience supporting a product management function.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, processes (pre-sales, sales and post-sale) and timelines effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Jira, Asana, Confluence).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Okta Platform is a plus.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $144,000—$216,000 USD
