Summary:

The Neuroscience team at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding service in a per diem capacity. In this exciting role, the PA will work alongside experienced physician and APP colleagues managing patients with diverse medical and surgical neurologic disease processes in the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up and consultations for diverse neuroscience patients in the inpatient clinical setting.
• Delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.
• Gaining a working competency of clinical workflows, protocols, and applicable procedures necessary in the comprehensive approach in the care of neurology patients.

• Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-year experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interests and abilities in neuroscience will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
