What is the job?

Do you enjoy having people as the focal point of your day? Getting your teeth into complex ER problems, supporting business leaders with the implementation of brand-new People & Culture initiatives, elevating an organisations people and culture to new levels, is what drives you.

You will be our first People & Culture Partner (HRBP) for the Knoxville TSO (Theatre Support Office), where you will report into our VP of US People & Culture, Chris Barksdale and partner with key stakeholders across the business in departments such as Commerce, technology, Finance & Marketing.

You will be an expert and true partner to your stakeholders, building powerful relationships that help shape an inclusive culture where we are all working towards the goal of ‘creating joy through unforgettable experiences’.

What will you be doing?

  • You will build close partnerships with leaders across corporate functions to understand their goals, challenges, and team dynamics whilst advising on all things people—from onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between.
  • You will provide day-to-day support in areas like performance management, employee relations, coaching, compensation, and development; helping navigate and resolve employee concerns with empathy, professionalism, and fairness.
  • You will support organizational design efforts and workforce planning as teams evolve and grow; helping identify talent gaps, training needs, and areas for process improvement.
  • You will collaborate with our Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, and HR Operations) to deliver effective programs, initiatives whilst acting as a champion for our culture - helping to ensure a positive, inclusive, and high performing workplace.
  • You will use People data and metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve employee engagement and retention.

About You

  • You will have demonstrable, progressive HR & People experience, ideally in a generalist or business partner capacity where you’ve had to work with a high degree of autonomy to exercise strong knowledge of HR fundamentals, employment laws, and best practices.
  • You will be a proper ‘people person’ - for us this means, being intuitive, effectively building trust, you are understanding, have a friendly but effective communication style which enables you to deliver feedback effectively and with a genuine love for solving people's problems whilst making their workplace better!
  • You are comfortable juggling multiple priorities while staying organized, detail-oriented and being able to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • You have experience supporting corporate teams (finance, tech, strategy, etc.).
