About us:
Portland Local 8 Federal Credit Union is a small not-for-profit credit union with over $40 million in assets serving members tied to various local unions including Longshore and Amtrak employees. Portland Local 8 FCU offers a sense of community where staff know the membership on a first name basis, rather than as a number.
While we may be small in size our mission is fierce. Our commitment extends beyond mere transactions, as we aspire to make a positive generational impact in the financial wellbeing of our union members, their families, and our communities. We seek individuals who align themselves with these values.
Our staff have the opportunity to wear many hats while providing services above and beyond those of typical financial institutions. We strive to retain high performing team members for the rest of their careers - our focus is to engage and develop our staff and propel them towards the next phase in their career development whether here at Portland Local 8 or outside our Credit Union.
Our Core Values: We consider these principles to be important for the well-being of our credit union, our employees, our member-owners, and the communities we serve.
