  • ​This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
  • ​Responsible for supporting and assisting a team of 6-8 Specialists. Team Lead reports directly to the Supervisor – Cargo Revenue Accounting and assists supervisor with day to day department activities.

What you'll do

  • ​Manages receivables and serves as accounting point of contact for largest and most complex customer credit accounts
  • Manages, Audits, Invoices and Reconciles Cargo Blocked Space Agreements
  • Audits and processes customer refunds for overbilling/overpayment
  • Assists Specialists with general day to day questions
  • Directs the training of new hires
  • Creates training classes on subjects of interest or new procedures
  • Facilitates escalated customer calls with all departments necessary to resolve issues
  • Coverages to ensure continuous work flow
  • Manages the monthly target/cashlist process for the team
  • Performs account analysis to identify chronic issues driving the aging/billing concerns and work with all groups to bring to resolution
  • Recommends and assists in the implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Coordinates and produce monthly reports for management
  • Performs other necessary duties and special projects as assigned
  • Coaches and counsels Specialists on their job performances
  • Conducts ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​High School diploma or GED Equivalency

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Ability to have aptitude to quickly evaluate details to present at a summary level
  • Ability to be flexible and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines concurrently and successfully
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Sabre and Cognos
