Job Description

A junior recruiter supports the recruitment process by assisting with tasks like posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. They are entry-level professionals in human resources, often working under the guidance of senior recruiters. Their responsibilities include sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Candidates: Junior recruiters utilize various platforms like job boards, social media, and professional networking sites to find potential candidates. 
  • Screening Resumes: They review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet the basic requirements of the job. 
  • Conducting Initial Phone Screens: They conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates' skills and experience, and to gauge their suitability for the role.
  • Scheduling Interviews: They coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers. 
  • Maintaining Candidate Databases: They update and manage recruitment databases, ensuring accurate records of candidate information.
