We seek individuals with excellent people skills and an outgoing personality.  We will provide the training needed to be a successful member of our flooring sales team.  Our new and enhanced compensation model allows you to grow into the sales position secured by an hourly wage plus commission and bonuses.  S&G’s amazing reputation and robust marketing drive customers to the store locations giving you ample opportunity to earn commission and bonuses.  No cold calling!
You will be an integral voice in helping customers transform the look of their homes.  You will develop a close relationship with customers during the 1–4-week installation timeline.

SCHEDULE:
  • GUARANTEED FULL-TIME HOURS WITH TWO DAYS OFF PER WEEK
  • EVERY SUNDAY OFF
  • SHIFTS ARE 9 A.M. to 6 P.M.
COMPENSATION:  
$25.00 an hour. Earn bonus and commission from day one!

  • Ability to recognize and capitalize on opportunities at point-of-sale.
  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at prospecting new customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing customers.
  • Prompt, dependable, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
  • Exceptional team player and skilled at working well under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Capacity to stand and walk around for extended periods.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Positive attitude and self-confidence when working with the public
  • Motivated and ambitious, with a high level of importance in landing sales
  • Good Listener
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Previous sales and/or retail experience is a plus
  • Open to training and learning product line (we will train you)
