Summary

We are actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Elite Division as a fractional consultant . In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted HR partner for one or more of our clients located within the Greater Omaha area and throughout the State of Nebraska , with the flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or on-site depending on client needs.

This is a contract (1099) position with flexible part-time hours, ideal for seasoned professionals who enjoy variety, autonomy, and the ability to make a real impact across mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as remote and/or on-site HR support for client organizations
  
• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
  
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel compliance
  
• Advise on HR policies, procedures, and federal/state employment regulations
  
• Support recruiting processes and hiring best practices
  
• Partner with client leadership to advise on HR operations and team development
  
• Provide guidance on contract negotiations and employee agreements.
  

HR Consulting Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in consulting or multi-client environments.
  
• SHRM or HRCI certification required.
  
• Strong working knowledge of employment law (Nebraska-specific compliance preferred).
  
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  
• Experience supporting professional services, behavioral health, or healthcare organizations is preferred.
  
• Based in Nebraska with access to reliable internet for remote work and reliable transportation for occasional on-site support if required.
  
• Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications effectively.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee relations.
