What You'll Be Doing:
Empower a High-Performing Team: Provide hands-on leadership to a team of contract specialists, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone can excel.
Shape Strategic Contract Solutions: Lead the evaluation of exciting business opportunities, spearhead proposal development, and expertly negotiate and manage contracts that align with our ambitious goals.
Be a Trusted Advisor: Serve as a key advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, guiding program performance, proactively mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with diverse teams, including Program Management, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain, to achieve shared objectives and drive organizational success.
Innovate Contract Negotiation: Develop and implement cutting-edge negotiation strategies to secure complex contracts, focusing on innovative approaches that streamline processes and strengthen client relationships.
Drive Program Success: Lead program reviews, strategic sessions, risk assessments, and all contract-related activities to ensure seamless program execution.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Advanced Degree preferred) with 6-10+ years of relevant experience in contracts, proposals, or negotiations.
Deep expertise in U.S. government contracting (FAR/DFAR), including complex international contracts and large-scale programs.
Proven success in managing high-value Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts, Joint Ventures, and Offset Agreements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing contract terms and developing robust business cases.
Leadership experience managing diverse, geographically dispersed teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with executive leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams effectively.
Cross-functional knowledge in Finance, Business Development, Program Management, or Supply Chain.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Juris Doctor (JD).
Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret: SCI Poly Security Clearance.
In-depth understanding of prime aerospace defense contractors.
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex contractual challenges creatively and strategically.

Competitive Compensation: Base pay range is $160,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on your qualifications.
