A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its highly-regarded Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group . This opportunity is based in Phoenix and offers the chance to work on sophisticated corporate restructuring and bankruptcy litigation matters across a national platform.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
Active Bar admission in Arizona, in good standing ; California Bar admission is strongly preferred.
3–6 years of substantive experience representing parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and creditors’ rights litigation .
Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise : Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including both debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases .
Litigation Experience: Excel in drafting , discovery , motion practice , and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.
Additional Transactional Background: Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus .
Soft Skills: Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.
Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 proceedings.
Provide strategic guidance to both creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases.
Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts, both in and out of court.
Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Competitive Compensation: Includes an annual salary range of $220,000 – $275,000 , commensurate with experience and market conditions, along with a profit-sharing bonus program .
